The BPP was an academic initiative founded in 2008 by Alberto Cavallo at Harvard and Roberto Rigobon at MIT to conduct research on macro and international economics. It is no longer active, but its datasets are available on this website. This line of research continued at the HBS Pricing Lab from 2023 to 2026 and now continues at the Innovations in Economic Measurement Lab.
